Remember the duck

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. And he was given a slingshot to play without in the woods. He practiced in the woods, but he could never hit the target. And getting a little discouraged, he headed back to dinner. As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let fly, hit the duck square in the head, and killed it. He was shocked and grieved. In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the woodpile, but his sister Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch that day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes." But Sally said, "Grandma, Johny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen today, didn't you Johny?" And then she whispered to him, "Remember, the duck?" So Johny did the dishes. Later Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing, and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper." But Sally smiled and said, "Well, that's all right because Johny told me he wanted to help." And she whispered again, "Remember, the duck?" So Sally went fishing and Johny stayed. After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's, he finally couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he killed the duck.

She knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, "Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing. But becoz I love you, I forgave you. But I was just wondering how long would you let Sally make a slave of you."

I don't know what's in your past. I don't know what sin the enemy keeps throwing up in your face. But whatever it is, I want u to know something. Jesus Christ was standing at the window. And He saw the whole thing. But bcoz He loves U, He has forgiven U. Perhaps He's wondering how long you'll let the enemy make a slave out of U.
The great thing about God is that He not only forgives, but He forgets!!!

Jesus is watching U.. Hez saying "one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out " John6:37 So Come to Him with all Ur sinful hearts and get released from sin.

Targeting North Indian is not Fair

Its really said to see the North Indian being beaten by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) workers in Mumbai.
I being a Mumbaikar didn't like such harassment on North Indian.
Do we really get effected when a outsider stays and works in our hometown?

North Indian are been target by leaders to gain votes for coming election.
Instead of doing such a nonsense activities ,do some useful activities for the welfare
of the society.

If we all Indian start fighting among ourself for useless reason ,then we are pulling
down India's development and Foreign countries can easily attack us.

Always remember
UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL

Sister Alphonsa from Kerala will become the first Saint from India

Sister Alphonsa from Kerala will become the first nun from India to be canonised by the Vatican ahead of Mother Teresa. She will become Saint Alphonsa on October 12 this year.

The date was announced after a formal meeting of the Pope and other cardinals in the Vatican on Saturday. After a 55-year-long process, Kerala nun Sister Alphonsa will be canonised at the Vatican Oct 12.

Sister Alphonsa's journey to sainthood reached its final stages last year when Pope Benedict cleared her sainthood after he approved a miracle attributed to her.

Her beatification — that is a recognition by the Church of a dead person's accession to heaven — was ordered by the then Pope, Pope John Paul II, during his visit to Kerala in 1986.

She is the first person to be conferred sainthood from the Kerala Church which traces its origins to the visit of St Thomas around 2,000 years ago to preach the gospel in India.

Born Anna Muttathupanadathu, she came to be known as the Blessed Alphonsa of the Immaculate Conception. After her death, local people attributed some miracles to her.

Blessed Alphonsa's name for canonisation was cleared by Pope Benedict XVI on June 1, 2007 and the date for the event was announced last week.On Dec 2, 1953, Eugene-Gabriel-Gervais-Laurent Cardinal Tisserant inaugurated the diocesan process for her beatification and Alphonsa was declared a Servant of God. On 9 July 1985, she received the title Venerable Sister Alphonsa.

Her tomb at Palai in Southern Kerala is a famous Christian pilgrimage spot.
